The Shaquille O’Neal Foundation & Icy Hot unveil the latest “Comebaq Court” in Miami, FL

In November 2022, The Shaquille O’Neal Foundation partnered with Icy Hot to unveil their third “Comebaq Court” at the Overtown Youth Center (OYC) in Miami, Florida. The Overtown Youth Center, founded more than two decades ago by NBA Hall-of-Famer Alonzo Mourning, has been a hub for not only youth, but for children, adults, and families in the Overtown area and surrounding communities. OYC is currently undergoing a more than $20 million dollar renovation to transform it into a 56,000 sq. ft facility across three floors. After a $90,000 donation from The Shaquille O’Neal Foundation among others, the court is slated to reopen in 2023.

As former teammates and long-time friends, Shaquille O’Neal and Alonzo Mourning have a history of collaborative success. In partnership with Icy Hot, they teamed up again to ensure that the next generation of athletes have safe spaces to play.

The Overtown Youth Center court follows other Comebaq Courts in Las Vegas and Newark. Beyond Miami, FL, plans for additional Comebaq Courts are underway.
